Mike & Tony's, a well-known Pittsburgh restaurant chain, recently shared on social media that it has officially acquired its newest location. The restaurant will be located on Babcock Boulevard, formerly the site of Kretzler's Tavern for many years before it closed in December.
"We have been looking for an M&T location in the North Hills area for years," the post stated. "We have work to do and will not be ready to open for a few months. Please be patient with us. We will keep everyone posted as we get closer."
Since 1973, Mike & Tony's has been serving as a beloved restaurant in Pittsburgh with multiple locations including Downtown, Bridgeville, the South Side, Moon, and Dormont.
Mike & Tony’s Gyro is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving the Pittsburgh area since 1973. After starting as a small, stand-alone gyro shop in downtown Pittsburgh, the family decided to expand and open additional locations throughout the city and region. Mike & Tony's specializes in Mediterranean and Greek cuisine with classic dishes such as gyros, salads, souvlaki, and more!
The new location in Ross is sure to be a hit with its loyal customers who have enjoyed their food for over 40 years! The restaurant will offer dine-in service but guests can also order takeout or delivery through various online ordering platforms like DoorDash or Grubhub. It will also feature an outdoor patio and carry a full bar with craft beer & wine.
Pittsburgh residents can look forward to the grand opening of Mike & Tony's in Ross in the coming months, as they get ready to enjoy a taste of Mediterranean cuisine right here at home! Be sure to follow their social media handles for updates on when the restaurant will open its doors. Until then, we’ll just have to keep drooling over all the delicious food that’s soon to come!
