About Matt De Reno
Hey, I'm Matt De Reno, the author of The Midas Protocol. I earned my history degree from Wheeling Jesuit University, but somewhere along the way, I found myself diving into the tech world. I've worked at places like Carnegie Mellon University and IBM, and I've had the chance to consult for some cool tech companies too.
I call Ross Township in the North Hills of Pittsburgh home, where I live with my amazing wife, our daughter, and our son.
When I’m not writing or chasing down the next big idea, I’m soaking up all the inspiration this city has to offer. My journey’s been a mix of history, tech, and storytelling—a combo that keeps life pretty interesting. Let’s see where it goes next.
One thing I’ve been looking to do more of is connect with other local fiction writers here in Pittsburgh.
