In a recent report by Jake Dabkowski for the Pittsburgh Business Times, it was revealed that Lawrenceville-based firm, Carnegie Robotics, has designed and introduced a body worn artificial intelligence compute system targeted at military members. Partnering with Booz Allen Hamilton, the technology, named the CardShark, incorporates advanced AI capabilities, target identification, biometric monitoring for medics, and battlefield mapping.
With its initial launch centered on military applications, Carnegie Robotics' forward vision includes eventual commercial applications. This body worn AI compute system is set to be shipped out in the first quarter of 2025.Â
In addition to its potential use in the military, the CardShark technology also has the potential to revolutionize various industries such as healthcare, transportation, and security. By incorporating advanced AI capabilities and biometric monitoring, this system could greatly improve efficiency and safety in these fields.
Moreover, with its ability to accurately identify targets and map out battlefields, the CardShark has the potential to significantly enhance military operations. This could lead to improved tactics and strategies, ultimately resulting in fewer casualties.
