"Virtually all departments will move in and are expected to be up and operational on Monday," Jennifer Reel, chief communications officer, said on Nov. 22.
While the exact numbers remain undisclosed, around 800 employees, who have been distributed across seven buildings for several years, will finally come together under one roof, the article stated.
F.N.B Financial Center was announced in December 2019 by F.N.B. and the Pittsburgh Penguins on the site of the former Civic Arena. Construction of the $220 million, 26-story, 550,000-square-foot skyscraper began three years ago.
F.N.B. will occupy 12 floors, or 230,000 square feet of office space, in a new building that can accommodate 1,000 employees. This represents roughly half of the total number of employees it has throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. The company made a strategic decision to expand its presence by taking an additional three floors in late May, which highlights its growth and commitment to the region.
