Local Provisions

Local Provisions is a market shop, cafe, and bar located along Freeport Rd. in the Fox Chapel shopping plaza in the Fox Chapel area of the North Hills of Pittsburgh. 

Local Provisions offers a combination of casual dining and unique grocery items, in-season produce, grab & go meals, as well as a daily cafe with an extensive array of drinks - ranging from beer to wine to cocktails.

The cool thing is you can take all these refreshments back home with you! After investing six months in the renovation of their former Community Market location, Jessica and Brian Pekarcik opened up Local Provisions in the Fox Chapel Shopping Plaza long Freeport Rd.

With over 28 years as an acclaimed chef under his belt, Brian Pekarcik, a Pittsburgh native, is no stranger to top-notch cuisine. His wife Jessica has worked for more than three decades within the food industry, specializing in customer service training - a perfect complement to her husband's culinary career.

Locally sourced foods include honey from Squirrel Hill's Pittsburgh Honey, soups from Sprezzatura in Millvale, plus bagels & creamy cream cheese spreads courtesy of Gussy’s Bagels in Oakland.
