Notable Facts About Sammartino Park In Ross Township
Sammartino Park was formerly Sangree Park and was renamed to Bruno Sammartino Park in honor of the late world champion professional wrestler in June 2021. Sammartino called Ross Township home and was often spotted jogging along Sangree Rd. The park is tucked away in Ross Township’s Ward 2 (Generally the neighborhoods behind Ross Park Mall) and includes the following park amenities:
- Full court basketball hoops - (Added in 2021)

- Interactive sound installations
- Ballfield
- Gravel parking lot
Sammartino park is approximately 9.3 acres in size and is located in Ward 2 of Ross Township and is maintained by the Ross Township Parks & Recreation Department.
