Views of North Park Boathouse in Allegheny County's North Park. The two scenic photos are from 1930, while the family picture is credited to the 1940s. Scenic views are from looking west across the lake bed just about when it was all brand new. Pearce Mill Road can be seen in the background of the scenic photos. Both scenic historical photo was taken in 1936. Today, you will find a restaurant and bar and while it has changed a lot in purpose over the years, this building still retains much of its original character and silhouette. You might say, they don't build them like this anymore.
