Dialysis facilities
Dialysis facilities are centers for patients with kidney disease, who need constant treatment in the form of dialysis, a procedure that artificially cleans and filters the blood. This is usually a role that healthy kidneys perform, but if they are no longer able to handle this function the patient requires regular dialysis. Although hospitals are also equipped to perform dialysis, these facilities are essential due to the high number of people who suffer from chronic kidney disease.
